Fort Lupton, Weld County, Colorado, USA

Fort Lupton is a city in southern Weld County, Colorado, along the South Platte River northeast of Denver. The community grew from a trading post established in the 1830s and later developed around rail transportation and farming in the river valley. Its older commercial buildings and neighborhoods reflect that history, while its present-day landscape combines residential areas, agricultural land and industry on Colorado’s Front Range.
