Raynham is a town in Bristol County, Massachusetts, near the junction of major routes between Boston, Providence and Cape Cod. The Taunton River and its tributaries cross a landscape of residential neighborhoods, former farmland, woods and commercial corridors. Incorporated in 1731, Raynham became known for iron production associated with the Leonard family and the early colonial iron industry. Later highway development brought new businesses and suburban growth. Retail, logistics, light industry, local services and regional commuting shape the town today.
