Braham is a small city spanning Isanti and Kanabec counties, approximately 50 miles north of the Twin Cities. Highway 107 crosses the community, connecting it with Highway 65 and the surrounding agricultural and forested region of east-central Minnesota. Braham had an estimated population of 1,776 in 2024. The city is known as Minnesota’s Homemade Pie Capital and hosts an annual Pie Day that draws visitors each August. Small manufacturing operations, East Central Energy, schools, local businesses and regional commuters support the economy.
