Quitman, Clarke County, Mississippi, USA

Quitman is a city and the seat of Clarke County in eastern Mississippi. It lies between Archusa Creek to the east and the Chickasawhay River to the west, near the Alabama border. Established in 1839, it developed as the county’s administrative and commercial center. Archusa Water Park is within the city, while Clarkco State Park lies just north of it.
