Alamo Heights Independent School District

Alamo Heights Independent School District is a public school district in Bexar County, Texas, within the San Antonio metropolitan area. It serves Alamo Heights, Terrell Hills and Olmos Park as well as portions of San Antonio and nearby unincorporated areas. The district provides prekindergarten through 12th grade education on a compact group of elementary, junior and senior high school campuses. The school system became an independent district in 1923 after developing from an earlier community school. Its academic, arts, athletics and extracurricular programs are closely tied to the small municipalities and neighborhoods it serves.
