Anne Arundel County

Anne Arundel County is a local government in central Maryland, based in Annapolis and serving communities along the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay. Its elected county executive leads the executive branch, while the County Council serves as the legislative branch. County departments provide public safety, emergency management, public works, planning, permitting, recreation, public health and services for older adults and people with disabilities.
