Box Elder County

Box Elder County is the county government serving northwestern Utah, with administrative offices in Brigham City. A three-member county commission provides its governing leadership, alongside county offices responsible for public records, elections and financial administration. The county handles planning and zoning, business licensing and services such as emergency management and landfill operations. Its treasurer receives and deposits county funds and administers property tax payments. Residents also receive services through the county attorney, sheriff and other departments, making the county a provider of both general government administration and public safety services for the communities within its jurisdiction.
