City of Foster City, California

The City of Foster City is the municipal government serving Foster City in San Mateo County, California. Its departments manage public safety, public works, planning, parks, recreation and services for a planned waterfront community on San Francisco Bay. Much of the city was developed on engineered land organized around lagoons, making shoreline protection and infrastructure important municipal responsibilities. The organization also maintains public spaces, community facilities and digital services used by residents and businesses.
