City of Lubbock

The City of Lubbock is the municipal government of Lubbock, Texas. It uses a council-manager form of government, with six council members elected by geographic district and a mayor elected at large. The City Council sets policy and adopts the budget, while an appointed city manager oversees daily operations and implements council decisions. Municipal services include public safety, utilities administration, municipal court, vital records, building safety and other local functions. Its main offices are in Citizens Tower at 1314 Avenue K in Lubbock, and its current official website is mylubbock.us.
