City of Plymouth

Plymouth is a suburban city in Hennepin County, Minnesota, located about 10 miles northwest of downtown Minneapolis. The city had 81,026 residents in the 2020 census and is among Minnesota’s largest municipalities. Plymouth is governed by a mayor and six-member City Council, with professional staff administering municipal operations. The city provides police, fire, public works, water and sewer utilities, parks and recreation, planning, housing, and local transit services. Its approximately 33-square-mile area includes residential neighborhoods, major employment centers, parks, lakes, and remaining areas of commercial and residential development.
