DeKalb County Sheriff's Department

The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department is the county law-enforcement agency serving DeKalb County in Middle Tennessee. Based in Smithville, it provides patrol, investigations, court security, civil process and other public-safety functions. The department also operates the county jail and manages records and communications connected with those responsibilities. Deputies serve small communities and rural areas across the county while coordinating with municipal, state and neighboring agencies.
