Educational Testing Service

Educational Testing Service is a nonprofit organization that develops assessments and conducts educational research for learners, institutions and government agencies. Founded in 1947, it provides testing programs used for English-language proficiency, graduate admissions and teacher certification, including TOEFL, GRE and Praxis. Its work combines test development, measurement research and assessment delivery for education and workforce clients. The organization also provides customized services for state assessment programs, including California’s statewide student testing. Its headquarters campus is in Lawrence Township, Mercer County, New Jersey, with a Princeton mailing address.
