The Fargo Park District is a public recreation district serving Fargo, North Dakota, and surrounding communities. Established in 1910, it maintains more than 2,800 acres of parks and green space, along with trails, sports facilities, golf courses and a campground on the Red River. It organizes recreation programs and community events for residents of different ages. A five-member elected board sets district policy, while staff manage parks, facilities, programming and administrative operations. The district’s work spans outdoor spaces and indoor recreation facilities across Fargo.
