Hanover County Public Schools

Hanover County Public Schools is the public school division serving Hanover County, Virginia, with administrative offices in Ashland. It provides kindergarten through 12th grade education in elementary, middle and high schools located across the county’s suburban and rural communities. The division also offers career and technical education, special education, alternative learning and extracurricular programs. Its attendance area surrounds but does not include the independent city of Richmond. Hanover’s schools form one of the principal public institutions in a county whose growth has extended north and east from the Richmond metropolitan area.
