Organization overview
The Department of Transportation Services is an agency of the City and County of Honolulu. It oversees public transportation, including TheBus, TheHandi-Van and Skyline, as well as traffic systems, transportation facilities and the movement of people and goods on city roadways. Its duties include bicycle and pedestrian planning, traffic safety and transportation infrastructure. Oahu Transit Services operates and maintains the city’s bus and paratransit services under contract with the department.
