Kalamazoo Public Schools

Kalamazoo Public Schools is a public school district serving Kalamazoo and surrounding communities in Kalamazoo County, Michigan. It provides education from prekindergarten through high school, with neighborhood and magnet schools, virtual learning and adult education programs. Its elementary, middle and high schools offer instruction alongside special education, multilingual support, athletics and other student services. Its high schools include Kalamazoo Central and Loy Norrix. A local Board of Education governs the district, with administrative offices at 1220 Howard Street in Kalamazoo. Qualifying graduates can receive postsecondary tuition assistance through the separately funded Kalamazoo Promise, launched in 2005.
