Lewes Public Library
Organization overview
Lewes Public Library is an independent nonprofit public library in Lewes, Delaware. A board of trustees appointed by the Delaware Superior Court oversees the library. It provides lending materials, public computers, study and meeting rooms, and classes and programs for all ages. The library moved to its building at 111 Adams Ave. in June 2016 as part of a growing cultural campus near the city’s southern entrance. County and state support, donations, grants and the separate Friends of Lewes Public Library help finance its work.
