Loxone

Loxone is an Austrian building automation company based in Kollerschlag. Its system centers on the Miniserver, a local controller that coordinates connected equipment such as lighting, heating, blinds and solar-energy systems. Sensors, switches and expansion devices connect with the controller so that building functions can respond together to occupancy, temperature and other conditions. The Miniserver runs automation on site, with locally stored user credentials, while network and expansion interfaces connect it with other devices. The company traces its development work to 2009, and its early smart-home products established the coordinated automation approach that remains central to its platform.
