Nebraska Community Blood Bank

Nebraska Community Blood Bank is a nonprofit blood-services division of New York Blood Center, Inc., based in Lincoln, Nebraska. Founded in 1968, it supplies blood and blood products to hospitals and other health care partners in Nebraska and western Iowa. It recruits volunteer donors through fixed donation centers and community blood drives. The organization combined with Memorial Blood Centers to form Innovative Blood Resources and joined the New York Blood Center Enterprises network in 2016. Its work supports transfusion care through the collection and distribution of donated blood components.
