Ogeechee Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office

The Ogeechee Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office is a Georgia public prosecution agency serving Bulloch, Effingham, Jenkins and Screven counties. Its prosecutors represent the state in criminal proceedings and prepare cases arising from law-enforcement investigations across the four-county circuit. The office has a principal location in Statesboro and staff based in Effingham County at Springfield. Prosecutors work with investigators, legal support staff and victim advocates in preparing cases and supporting court proceedings. Its work includes juvenile-court matters as well as criminal cases handled in the circuit’s superior courts.
