Pittsburgh Regional Transit

Pittsburgh Regional Transit is the operating name of the Port Authority of Allegheny County, a public transportation agency based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It runs regional bus routes, light rail known as the T, incline services and paratransit connecting communities across Allegheny County and beyond. The agency provides accessible transportation and reduced-fare programs for eligible riders, and plans, operates and maintains its network throughout the year. An 11-member board appointed by state and local officials sets policy, oversees strategy and adopts operating and capital budgets. Its administrative office is on Sixth Avenue in downtown Pittsburgh, separate from its Smithfield Street customer-service center.
