Riverside Community College District

Riverside Community College District is a public community college district serving western Riverside County, California. It operates Moreno Valley College, Norco College and Riverside City College, with district offices in Riverside. The colleges offer associate degrees, certificates, career preparation and courses that allow students to transfer to four-year universities. The district’s educational roots date to the opening of Riverside Junior College in 1916. Moreno Valley and Norco became independently accredited colleges in 2010, establishing the current three-college system. An elected five-member Board of Trustees governs the district, and a chancellor serves as its chief executive, coordinating district operations with the colleges.
