San Diego City College

San Diego City College is a public community college in downtown San Diego and part of the San Diego Community College District. Founded in 1914, it was the first community college in San Diego and one of the earliest in California. The college offers associate and bachelor’s degrees, transfer preparation, career education and certificate programs across a broad range of fields. Its urban campus serves recent high school graduates, working adults, transfer students and other learners from throughout the metropolitan area. City College also supports the surrounding community through workforce training, student services, cultural programs and partnerships with local employers and institutions.
