School District of Monroe

The School District of Monroe is a public school system serving Monroe and nearby communities in southern Wisconsin. It educates students from four-year-old kindergarten through high school at three elementary schools, a middle school and a high school. The district reports serving about 2,400 students and provides curriculum, student support, health and nutrition programs across its schools. A nine-member elected board sets policy, determines curriculum and allocates resources. The district’s schools are based in Monroe, a Green County community with a longstanding educational and civic role in the surrounding area.
