St. André Health Care

St. André Health Care is a nonprofit Catholic nursing and rehabilitation provider in Biddeford, Maine, serving older adults and people with disabilities. Founded in 1976, it traces its mission to the Good Shepherd Sisters of Quebec and is part of Covenant Health. Its programs include rehabilitation after a hospital stay, long-term nursing, memory care and temporary respite stays. Rehabilitation combines physician-directed care with physical and occupational therapy, wound care and planning for a return home. Palliative and hospice services support residents with serious illness and their families. The center operates at 407 Pool St. and provides nursing, social, nutritional and spiritual support for its residents.
