The Delaware Division of Libraries

The Delaware Division of Libraries is the state library agency within the Delaware Department of State, based in Dover. It coordinates library services across Delaware and administers the statewide library network and consortium, supporting public, academic, school and special libraries. Its work includes technology support, professional development, library planning and the administration of financial assistance for library development. Through Delaware Library Access Services, it provides accessible reading materials for residents who cannot use standard print because of visual, physical or reading disabilities. The division also supplies information resources to government agencies and works with local libraries to expand access to reading, research and lifelong learning.
