Direct Communications said a distributed denial-of-service attack disrupted internet service in Eagle Mountain, Utah, beginning Sept. 17, closing City Hall and the library and affecting provider phone and billing systems. The provider said service was restored Sept. 21 and continued investigating and hardening its network. Data impact and actor attribution remained unresolved.
