Lakin Unified School District 215 in Kansas shut down Wi-Fi to contain a breach that its technology engineer found was isolated to a copier server. The district said its system had been restored by its Oct. 14, 2026, announcement and that no student or staff information was accessed. The intrusion date, shutdown duration and exact restoration date remain unknown.
