A September 2026 network intrusion at Sangre de Cristo Electric Association disrupted bill payments and telephone services after the Colorado cooperative isolated its IT servers. The cooperative says both services were restored and electricity was unaffected. INC Ransom claimed the utility, but responsibility and its broader data-theft allegations remain unverified.
