Senture cyberattack
Public report preview
A cyberattack on Senture disrupted the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's contact-center phone services and Motus registration support, according to DOT's Oct. 14, 2026, confirmation to Politico. FMCSA's Oct. 6 notice directed users to web tickets and chat, and DOT said agency data was not compromised. Ransomware, attribution, AI involvement and recovery timing remain unresolved; an undated restoration notice does not establish when this attack's effects ended.
