Franklin County suspends Flock camera system after detective misuse

Franklin County, North Carolina, Sheriff Kevin White said an audit uncovered a detective using the Flock license-plate system to track a private citizen. The detective was fired, findings referred to the district attorney, and cameras and associated equipment, systems and servers were suspended indefinitely during an investigation. Restoration and the exact suspension date were not established.
