Riverview municipal and police non-emergency phone lines unavailable

FOX 2 found Riverview, Missouri’s City Hall and police non-emergency telephone lines unavailable while reporting on Sept. 25, 2026. Calls to both numbers returned a message that the number was temporarily experiencing difficulties. The city was operating under a financial crisis and police furlough; St. Louis County Police continued covering emergency calls. The report does not establish when the phone disruption began or its technical cause, and contains no evidence of cyber involvement.
