Redwood County, Minnesota, USA

Redwood County is in southwestern Minnesota, along the Minnesota River Valley. Redwood Falls, the county seat, lies on the Redwood River near its confluence with the Minnesota River. Agricultural uplands and small rural communities occupy much of the county. The river valley adds wooded slopes, bluffs and exposed rock formations to the surrounding prairie landscape. Historic sites, parks and the Minnesota River Valley Scenic Byway reflect the region’s Dakota history and rural development.
