Springdale, Washington County, Arkansas, USA

Springdale is a city in northwestern Arkansas that extends across Washington and Benton counties. It developed around a settlement known as Shiloh. The city incorporated in 1878, after adopting the Springdale name for its post office in 1872. Rail connections helped local growers ship apples, strawberries, peaches and grapes to distant markets.
