Burlingame, San Mateo County, California, USA

Burlingame is a city in San Mateo County on California’s San Francisco Peninsula. Subdivision around the Burlingame Country Club began in 1893, followed by a railway station in 1894. The 1906 San Francisco earthquake and fire brought new residents seeking homes on the peninsula. Burlingame incorporated in 1908 and expanded by annexing the neighboring town of Easton in 1910.
