Sandy Springs, Fulton County, Georgia, USA

Sandy Springs is a city in northern Fulton County, Georgia, between Atlanta and Roswell. It incorporated on Dec. 1, 2005, after a long campaign for local government. The Chattahoochee River forms its western boundary, with Cobb County across the river. The community grew around natural springs and developed into a substantial part of the Atlanta metropolitan area.
