Noblesville is a city in central Indiana and the seat of Hamilton County, north of Indianapolis. Its historic core developed along the White River around a town plat laid out in 1823. Railroad service beginning in 1851 and the discovery of natural gas in 1887 helped spur industrial and residential growth.
