South Portland, Cumberland County, Maine, USA

South Portland is a coastal city in Cumberland County on Casco Bay in southern Maine. Incorporated in 1898, it developed from the northern part of Cape Elizabeth. Its neighborhoods extend from the commercial Maine Mall area in the west to Willard Beach in the east. The waterfront includes marinas, port facilities, Bug Light Park and access to Portland Harbor. Interstate 295, the Maine Turnpike and U.S. Route 1 pass through the city.
