Delta Township is a community in Eaton County, Michigan, set within the lake plains, river valleys and glacial terrain of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula. Delta Township occupies the western edge of metropolitan Lansing, combining established neighborhoods with commercial corridors and open land. Its historical character grew from the wider period in which timber, farming, railroads and industrialization guided nineteenth- and twentieth-century growth.
