Port Huron, Saint Clair County, Michigan, USA

Port Huron is the seat of St. Clair County in eastern Michigan, near the outlet of Lake Huron into the St. Clair River. It became a city in 1857 and the county seat in 1871. Sawmills, shipyards and dry docks helped shape its 19th-century economy. The riverfront forms part of the international boundary with Ontario. The Blue Water Bridge and an international rail tunnel make the area a gateway for trade between the United States and Canada.
