Suttons Bay Township is a civil township in Leelanau County in northern Michigan. It includes the village of Suttons Bay, the community’s main commercial and activity center. The county seat lies in the township between the village and Lake Leelanau. Business areas extend along M-22 south of the village, north toward Peshawbestown and along M-204 near Lake Leelanau. The township had 2,883 residents at the 2020 census, including the village population.
