Location overview
North St. Paul is a city in Ramsey County, Minnesota, northeast of Saint Paul in the Twin Cities metropolitan area. It developed from Henry A. Castle’s townsite near Silver Lake and incorporated in 1887. A railroad through the townsite helped stimulate factories, homes and businesses during its early growth. The former industrial village became an established inner suburb with a compact downtown and residential neighborhoods.
