Spring Lake Park is a small city in the northern Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area, primarily within Anoka County. It is almost entirely developed, with residential neighborhoods, schools and commercial corridors closely connected to neighboring Blaine and Fridley. The community grew rapidly during the post-World War II suburban expansion and incorporated as a city in the 1950s.
