Creve Coeur, Saint Louis County, Missouri, USA

Creve Coeur is a city in central St. Louis County, Missouri, west of the independent city of St. Louis. It developed from a farming community along Olive Street Road, now Olive Boulevard. The road followed an older trail connecting the Mississippi and Missouri rivers. Creve Coeur incorporated in December 1949 and adopted its city charter in 1976. Residential neighborhoods, parks, businesses and office developments now occupy much of the city.
