Circleville, Pickaway County, Ohio, USA

Circleville is a city and the seat of Pickaway County in south-central Ohio. It was laid out in 1810 over part of a large Indigenous earthwork. The original town plan followed the earthwork’s circular form, giving the city its name. Later redevelopment replaced that arrangement with a conventional street grid.
