Spring Hill, Maury County, Tennessee, USA
Municipality
Location overview

Spring Hill is a city south of Nashville in Middle Tennessee, spanning Maury and Williamson counties. Its early settlement grew around springs, fertile farmland and a railroad connection to Nashville. The city was the site of a Civil War engagement in November 1864 before the Battle of Franklin. Rippavilla, a surviving 19th-century property on the Maury County side, preserves part of that history. Spring Hill now includes historic sites alongside newer residential and commercial areas shaped by regional growth.
