Burns, Laramie County, Wyoming, USA

Burns is a town in eastern Laramie County in southeastern Wyoming, east of Cheyenne. It developed beside a Union Pacific Railroad siding and served the surrounding Golden Prairie agricultural district. Platted as Luther in 1907, the community became Burns in 1910 and incorporated in 1916. The town lies between Hillsdale and Egbert, within the rural farming and ranching landscape of the High Plains.
