Kentwood Public Schools, Michigan

Kentwood Public Schools is a unified school district centered in southern Kentwood, with boundaries extending into portions of Cutlerville, Gaines Township, Grand Rapids and Wyoming. The district covers about 24.2 square miles of southern metropolitan Grand Rapids. Its service area includes established neighborhoods, apartment communities, commercial and industrial corridors and newer suburban development. The 2020 Census counted 70,310 residents and 28,545 housing units within the district’s boundaries. Kentwood Public Schools describes the area as Michigan’s most diverse school district, reflecting the international and multilingual character of the surrounding community.
