Akron Public Schools

Akron Public Schools (APS) is the largest public school district in Summit County, Ohio, serving approximately 20,000 students across more than 40 schools. Headquartered in Akron, the district provides preschool through 12th-grade education and offers career and technical education, college and career readiness programs, special education services and extracurricular activities. APS employs thousands of teachers and staff and is one of the region’s largest public employers, supporting students throughout Akron and surrounding neighborhoods.
