Chanhassen Dinner Theatres

Chanhassen Dinner Theatres is a professional theater and dining complex in Chanhassen, Minnesota, southwest of Minneapolis. Founded by Herbert and Carolyn Bloomberg in 1968, it opened as The Frontier with a production of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Its stages present large-scale musicals as well as concerts, comedy and special events, with meals served as part of the theater experience. The complex grew from a rural site into a longstanding Twin Cities entertainment destination. Its history includes a 22-year run of I Do! I Do! with its original cast, a distinctive chapter in American musical theater.
